Unity feature: Package signature warnings

Package Manager makes unsigned and externally published packages more visible before installation. The check helps identify package origin and integrity.

Use it

  1. Inspect the publisher and signature information in the installation prompt.
  2. Use the package-signature guide to distinguish a missing signature from a signature that cannot be verified.

Requirements and limits

  • A signature identifies origin and integrity; it does not certify that package code is suitable for your project.
