What changed

Unity feature: UnityWebRequest HTTP/2

UnityWebRequest uses HTTP/2 when the server supports it. The update concerns the network connection used for requests, so existing request code can benefit without a new gameplay API.

Use it

  1. Use UnityWebRequest for the request and connect to an endpoint configured for HTTP/2.
  2. Inspect server or network logs to confirm the negotiated protocol and compare concurrent-request behavior.

Requirements and limits

  • The server must support HTTP/2. This does not mean every request becomes faster or that a gRPC client is configured automatically.
