What changed

Unity feature: Multiplayer Center

Multiplayer Center recommends packages from the game’s needs and links to setup examples. Multiplayer Play Mode supports testing several players from the development environment.

Use it

  1. Open Window > Multiplayer > Multiplayer Center and enter the game specifications.
  2. Install the chosen packages, then follow their Quickstart steps and use Multiplayer Play Mode for local multi-player testing.

Requirements and limits

  • Networking packages and hosted services have separate setup requirements. Installing the recommendations does not make gameplay network-aware automatically.
